We camped out (literally) in D.C. on Friday night to get free tickets for this annual event - The White House Easter Egg Roll, which is an ongoing American tradition that dates back to 1868. FrToday, we took both kids along with some friends to the Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn and it was so much fun. It definetely was a memory for our family and we would definetely bring the kids back if we had another opportunity. Sydney's favorite moments were : taking pictures with Curious George & the Easter Bunny, participating in the egg roll and egg hunt, and riding on the metro train with her best friend, Reese. The kids received a gift bag that contained some fun items but the best thing Sydney liked was a colored wooded egg that has the President and Laura Bush's signatures on the back.

Caleb's 1st haircut
Overall, it was a good experience for Caleb. He sat still for maybe 2 minutes, but in order to keep him sitting the whole way through, I had to feed him cheerios and snacks and that kept him happy and gave the hair dresser ample time to get a decent trim.
